The Great Cloth Diaper change will be taking place on April 21.  They are attempting to break the world record for the most cloth diapers changed at one time.  In 2011 the record was set with 5,026 diapers at 127 locations in 5 countries.  There were actually 203 locations that participated with 6,363 participants from 10 countries but not all locations qualified for the Guinness World Record.  It is also a great way to let people know about cloth diapering.  This is actually only the second year for the event, but wouldn’t it be great to see 7,000 cloth diapers being changed at the same time?

There are currently events scheduled in 15 countries for this date.  Have you signed up?  Where will you be participating?

I registered this week-end for the Toronto event being hosted by the Laundry Tarts at the Green Parents Show.  It was a toss up for me whether to attend the event in Peterborough or the one in Toronto as they are roughly the same distance for me, however the fact that the Toronto one is tied in with the Green Parents Show which was hoping to attend as well it seemed like the perfect fit.
